Bed Bug Sprays

Homeowners experiencing bed bugs might attempt to use an over-the-counter insecticide sprays. This is ill-advised, given the resistance of bed bugs to many of these products. There also are potential health concerns with applying many of these over-the-counter "bug sprays" to mattresses and other surfaces where people find bed bugs. The only way to effectively treat a bed bug infestation is to allow a pest control professional to determine and implement treatment.
